I met the Bermensolo family at Champoeg State Park, near Portland Oregon, early on a Friday morning; the sun was shining and we had the entire place to ourselves. It was the stuff of dreams! Just hanging out in the tall grass, taking the pup for a walk, soaking in the scenery and getting some exploring in. We also had very deep conversations about marshmallows. Lol Such a super chill family and a relaxing, wonderful session. When there are little ones involved, this is really the way to go. We didn’t spend alot of time posing or making her feel pressured to follow specific directions. When she didn’t like the tall grass, we moved on to an area with shorter grass. When she wanted to pull the wagon, we took the time to let her. And when she skinned her knee and wanted to be done shooting, we were done. Just go with the flow, relax and spend some time together, only while looking a little more put together than usual. ;) This method not only results in more authentic photos, but also an enjoyable and memorable experience.
